What's Love Got to Do With It

Its already been a year since the tragic death of MJ...definitely still feels like it happened yesterday.
So all this week on BET, its all about the legend.
Yesterday I happened to catch a snippet of the movie
The Jacksons: An American Dream
I mean how GREAT is Angela Basset...her portrayal of Katie, Tina,
and lets not forget Stella are just beyond.

Oh yea...her bod is the BOMB.
And I'm loving these pics btw.

Is it Me or Is it You?

I, like most of the world, am completely fascinated by Lady Gaga.
Well that fascination has turned into an obsession after finding this photo.
Like I've said before...Gaga for Gaga.

Hometown Hero...

It feel so good to be BACKKK!! lol
Sorry for the lack of recent posts...between finals, graduation and tryna figure out whats next for us, it's been a hectic few weeks.
But I promise that there will be more frequent posts!

Anywho, I headed home to MD/DC for some
much needed fun with my gurlies.
We headed to Clyde's for a few drinks and appetizers before we hit the town.

This past Saturday was one of the most reckless days of my life!
It started off really casual and cute (brunch).  I went to brunch at EN Restaurant & Bar.
It's a really chic/modern spot in Brooklyn...
Even though we arrived to brunch a bit late (like 3PM) we stll managed to have... brunch
(we're cool with VIP)...
We ended up staying until 12AM...(don't ask!)
Somewhere in between that time, we took a stroll, that's where these pictures come in.
It was one of the best/pleasant moments of yesterday.
We also encountered a lot of foolishness (people/behavior/business).
All in all, it was a reckless, nice, learning experience!

Badu Bi-otch!!

Who: My friend and I
What: Erykah Badu Concert
Where: D.C.
When: May 28, 2010
Why: I enjoy her music; it makes me happy/sad; it's bittersweet; I love her.

It was a very chill atmosphere even though it was in a large venue.
People were still hype...I mean duhh it's Erykah Badu!
I've actually never experienced anything like it before...
I'm used to going to male, headlining concerts of mega R&B superstars/bands.
Never a female, soulful, songstress headliner like Badu (well actually, I've seen MJB...but it's not the same).
Badu is so informal...I dig it!
