So Last Season...

I absolutely LOVE these Atelier Versace skirt/dresses.  They're from Fall 2011, but what the hay, they're still UH-mazing!

Shoe-icide

So, we are still waiting for the pics from our event *taps foot impatiently* but in the mean time, here are some pics of the lovely shoes we wore. We knew we wanted to rock designer on our special night, but considering the price tag....we also made sure we bought shoes that we could wear over and over and over...lol.

I decided to go for the classic, but oh so necessary Christian Louboutin Pigalle in nude. It's the perfect pointed toe pump with a 'lil sexy because of the 5 inch heel, and it complimented my outfit perfectly!

For Genevia, we knew we needed to look for something that would take her dress to the next level, so when we saw these Giuseppe's we just couldn't resist! And because it's a peep toe bootie it can be worn during any season!

Photoshoot Fresh: Bright, Bold & Beautiful

Hey luvies! So sorry for the lack of post but this time we have a darn good excuse! lol! We've spent the last few weeks running around like lunatics planning our launch event for Vice As If, LLC AND had a photoshoot AND launched our new site all at the same time! Whew! It wasn't easy but we got it done and we are so excited to share some of the pics from the shoot with all of you!!

Check out the rest of the pictures HERE on our fabulous new site!
We had some great inspirations for the shoot but our main idea was to keep each look bright and vibrant! We used alot of chunky jewelry pieces and completed each look with a signature lip color. The shoot was so much fun and we enjoyed finally being able to our own thang :) Kudos to Genevia who doubled as stylist AND photographer.

Our launch event went UH-mazing by the way and we can not wait to share the pics and video which are soon to come #staytuned. Thanks to all our friends, family and fellow creatives for showing us so much love and supporting the cause!!

This last month has been hectic to say the least but I think we did a pretty good job pulling it all off! *pats back* And the best part is that we've only just begun...

Refinery 29 Launch Party at Madewell

The Refinery 29 launch party at the Madewell store in Georgetown took place last Thursday (I know, I'm tardy, but planning an event AND working full time ain't easy!)
I got there at about 6:15 PM thinking it started at 7 PM (which would leave me enough time to browse some other shops), but to my surprise people had already arrived and were throwing back cocktails, so I joined in the festivities.
The store/clothing. Amazing.
I caught myself eyeballing a few pieces and decided to be responsible and focus on meeting new people (I'm SO broke).
Wait! Guess who decided to stroll in by the time it was practically over?? Sade! She drove all the way down from Philly for her 4 day weekend, and decided to stop by! She's such a trooper!
Anyway, all the attendees looked very stylish, and it made me stop and think about how DC is slowly becoming the hotspot for fashion and fun. We're on the map! This is our time to shine, and I believe we're moving in the right direction as far as being recognized as a stylish city with stylish residents!
Check out the photos!

Michelle, Kimee Brown and Stephanie! Loved them instantly!

Ya'll know we love our bags and shoes :)

Fellow CapFabber, Vivi, of Heart, Print, & Style Electric blue things make me happy! Love those pants, Vivi!

Chyanne of Yuppie by Chyanne & Ms. Star Styles

Up close of Chyanne's arm candy!

Gigi Guerra of Madewell. Loved her shoes!

Scarves were on display as actual decoration. Love the colors!

Casually dressed mannequins.

We really liked this living room vibe upstairs.

Brian Louis of IPO Lifestyle Group LLC Nice look, we especially dig the shirt.

Alina of The Feast

Glam Soup and her friend. Love that brown bag!

Carla of The President Wears Prada.  This outfit, one of my faves of the night!

Carlis of Spicy Candy DC with a casually cool outfit.

Katya of Spicy Candy in vintage, darling! Loved the conversation we had that night.
Still laughing LOL...

Sai Sankoh of Because of I'm Fabulous. This feathered shawl is just too chic! UGH!

Katie of Go Kate Shoot. She's always so well put together, and we especially love her haircut!

Stylish attendees!

The designer, Mera Anwar, of Miri NYC. She's designed for like everyone!
And we used to work for the same company! How amazing is that. It's such a small world, I tell ya...

I spy some Kara Ross NY pieces on her arm! Lovely!

We took a stroll down the street and bumped into Antonio and fellow employee (forgot his name) of Jack Spade. Fellas, we Love this store! It's way cool, oh and sexy too! Just look at how nice these guys are dressed!

We forgot to take pics of ourselves (how dumb? Yeah, we know!) We'll be sure to steal some from other bloggers ;)

That's all for now, Tatah!
