Her work is out of this world... like ALWAYS!
I enjoy the colors of course (peacock blue!! how could you resist?!) and the mixture in prints.

If You Didn't Know...Now You Know: Testing Make-Up Could Be Harmful

We all enjoy our fair share of make-up and find it irresistibly fun to test before we purchase.
Well this "fun"...could lead to harmful infections.
According to Dr. Zein Obagi, a dermatologist in Beverly Hills, “You can pass herpes, pink eye and all sorts of things through sharing makeup. If a woman has a cut on her lip and borrows lipstick from someone who has a cold sore, she’ll get a cold sore.”

Don't get me wrong, you can still try it before you buy it. Just be cautious!
Do not share makeup on your eyes, nose or mouth and make sure to sanitize all products before use!

The Lost Generation: It Should Have Been My Generation...

I should have lived my twenties in the 20's...
It's my favorite decade, my favorite fashion decade.
In my opinion, it was the most daring period in history.
I mostly enjoy the 20's for its revolutionizing face in fashion and women's new found equality with men.
The bob, smoking, drinking, short hemlines, men's clothing, anything goes.
Rebellion.
I should have been there...
Can we say Out of Control?
The 20's and I would have made a good team.
Dancing as a passion, movement.
Movement in clothing... I'm so over this form-fitting shit.
Embellishment.
Heavy embellishment with rhinestones, sequins, beads - The Flapper Dress.
Gosh, it would have been nice to be a Flapper...
Gosh.
It would have been great to not give a f&^%...

Zara Has Lost Its Mind!

I waltzed into Zara in New York one afternoon only to see these sick taupe wedges.
Only problem is, the price tag was sicker!
Zara, you are officially nuts!
Why are these shoes $240 230???
Why would I do that??
Like, you're Zara.
I still tried them on though...
TheBOMB.com
Loved them, but not for $240 230.
Let's get real.

Posh

I love my new stepping stool!
The man I bought it from was trying to gyp me major, but I knew better... I'm a skilled negotiator...
Plus, he didn't even have a clue as to what it was!
When I proceeded to test it out with my feet, he started looking at me weird... (ummm yes, I will test this out in the store and in front of you!) He didn't understand why I was stepping on it... like dude, it's a STEPPING stool.  I guess he thought I was supposed to sit on it?!?
Note: Please understand the products you are selling if you're going to being in the vending business!
That's All!

I Dare You...

My friend Sein came down for my bday weekend and while he was throwing his suitcase into his trunk,
I spotted this one of a kind treasure out the corner of my eye!

I'm def not afraid to adorn animal print, and have to say I j'adore the bag!
But I also know, there would be a lot of side looks and gasps on my way through the city.
Do I care?! Not at all!

DARE to be DIFFERENT

GOOGLE ME: Gavin Douglas

I was watching a repeat of Rip the Runway on BET yesterday...and imagine my surprise when my Fashion Industry Professor, Gavin Douglas, S/S 2010 collection came strutting down the walkway! I immediately hopped on Facebook and sent a message of congratz. I took the course while studying abroad in London, and he was a great teacher, especially since he was young and in-the-know. Check out my fav pieces from the collection below!

Loved it! Congratz again Gavin!
