Curb Appeal: A Walk Down Memory Lane

Sunday was beautiful, so we went to one of our favorite spots in D.C. (Ulah Bistro) and reminisced about our golden days in Europe. Milan, Switzerland, Rome, Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo. Those were memorable moments and countries that will always be treasured. Being able to explore so many cultures is a wonderful blessing!

We also chatted about our epic freshmen year of college... what a scandal! 

With that being said, thank goodness our freshmen year is now African American History!
#shoutout to February's Black History month!!!  Coincidentally, today is America's last day in "recognizing" Black History.
FYI, I celebrate this month everyday by just doing me! :)

Hot Winter Days

Last week we had some pretty amazing weather that had majority of us planning weekend BBQ's...3 days later it snowed :D Here are some pics from a quick photo op I had with my brother's new Canon D-SLR right before I headed to lunch with a friend.

Genevia and I aren't in the same city anymore :( so we decided to do this post to keep things fresh & fun! Check out the goodies in our bags below!

Blackberry! (Really, there's no explanation needed...)
Bottle of water - It's essential to life, duh! But also, I'm always thirsty! I don't really drink much of anything else. On second thought, I should carry around a bottle of wine...
Aleve - Life can be a headache or cramps!
Flash Drive - I have to be ready to upload something to someone at all times.
Floss - I have a big smile, and I prefer to save myself the embarrassment.
Hand Cream - Having ashy hands is upsetting.
Lip Gloss - Definitely one thing I can not live without.
Ipod - Music sparks nostalgia, and I enjoy wandering down memory lane.  
OPI Birthday Babe - Current nail polish on my nails. Necessary for touch-ups. You just never know where you'll go and who you'll see.

Burberry Umbrella - Rain + my hair = oil + water

Felix Ray wallet- I've had this wallet forever! And even though it's falling apart, I can't let go.

Yes! I have 2 blackberrys but one is for work and the other for play!

BB charger- I hate when my phone dies, so I carry my charger at all times.

J.D. Robb book- I looveeee this series from Nora Roberts and have read every book thus far.

Dasani Water- the BEST water hands down.

Georgio Armani Sunglasses- Always ready when the sun decides to peak thru :)

Buxom Lipgloss in Sandy- My new fav, perfect combination of moisturizer and gloss.

Mac "Our Pick" Lipstick- essential for that quick day-to-night look.

Mac Lip Conditioner-A must have in this cold weather!

Mary Kay hand lotion- Simple...ash just isn't cute.

Mac Blot Powder- Perfect way to touch up my makeup without that "cake" look.

Hand Sanitizer- I'm somewhat of a germophobe.

Ping Pong

Headed home to MD/DC for the weekend to hang out with my family & friends. My girlfriend and I were FINALLY able to go to Ping Pong, a Dim Sum restaurant that we've been trying to try...we've gone twice before and they were already closed!

The food was definitely worth all the effort, and we enjoyed every bit! Plus, our waiter was too cute :)

Mac & Milk

I headed to NYC last Saturday to Milk Studios for the SUNO Fall 2011 presentation that I was invited to. I had a really good time, despite the ridiculous amount of people who were in attendence for the many shows/presentations going on at Milk.

The pieces were fabulous. Designers Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty definitely had #NYFW buzzing about SUNO.

I tip toed backstage at Erin Fetherston...loved it! Looks galore!

I met Markis while we were waiting for the elevator. The night was still young, so we decided to hit the Billy Reid after party!
