Yesterday, we took a trip to downtown D.C. to experience "Taste of D.C."
It's an event that allows different restaurant vendors to set up a booth and sample dishes to everyone who purchased tickets. This food festival is a great opportunity for new businesses to introduce items from their menus and educate consumers about their food and location. Lot's of cities have this event too. It's a great way to find out about new and old eateries in your city.
We even bumped into our friends/store owners of 9th and Fontain while making our way through the large crowd, and witnessed a few rallies regarding the war and the environment.
Saturday was basically a cool day.
